Laptop Issue :(

I have an Acer Aspire 5560G. Here are the specs:

AMD A6-3420M (1.5GHz with turbo boost to 2.4GHz)
6GB DDR3 1066MHz RAM
1600 x 900 17.3" LCD
AMD Radeon 6520G with AMD 7670m 1GB dedicated VRAM (nasty Crossfire)


I feel like it is running on the integrated card. On LOW settings I'm getting maybe 15fps. I can run WoW, World of Tanks, League of Legends, DOTA 2, Call of Duty MW3, all that on High or Ultra.

Any thoughts at all on this?! (all drivers up to date).

Download gpu-z/ or any other program that can see gpu load and check if it using only your dedicated mobile card or if the game is defaulting to integrated chip set? if both are under load give driver updates a shot and pop back with results.

It seems like you are running integrated card.

I'm unfamiliar with AMD Radeon Driver Console.
Check your driver setting, see if you can force the driver to use the VGA when you running the client. That's what i do with my Nvidia

Hybrid crossfire has really iffy performance, and often times you're better off just using the APU by itself. Driver support for this kind of crossfire is really terrible and it suffers from microstuttering a lot. I'd suggest trying each card alone and seeing which one performs better.

Also, don't use the latest beta drivers (13.10). They're hit and miss with crossfire setups, but in my experience have been horrible. I dropped down by almost 50 fps with these. 13.4 seems to be the best performance at the moment.
