    Customer Service Survey after reporting RMT spam?

    I got this email today and I think it's a little strange.

    Our records show that you recently contacted Square Enix Customer Service to receive assistance.
    We are very interested to hear more about your experience during this process and it would be greatly appreciated if you could spare a few moments to answer a short survey and help us to improve our service.

    I haven't contacted support lately other than using the in game thing to report RMT spam. Has anyone else gotten this message after reporting RMT, or should I be concerned that someone may have tried to access my account details over the phone?

    Oh okay so no cause for concern then. It's nice that they sent it out but the way that it's worded makes it sound like someone called them on the phone. Thanks for helping me clear it up. Luckily I downloaded the token app the other day.

    I also got this mail but I had also sent a ticket to support regarding some problems with my account. So maybe it's related to that.

    Sent a support ticket a few weeks back, did a suggestion this week and reported about 60 gilspammers. I also received an email, but I don't know hwich contact was the trigger.

    I just got this email today and find it to be very fishy that I'm receiving such a thing as they have said they will never contact us. I'm wondering if someone is calling and trying to get information through a social engineering method.

    I have not contacted SE CS in recent months at all so this is starting to smell very fishy to me and I think SE needs to look into this immediately. The time I did it was something related to FFXI but that was so long ago and to receive such an email now just makes it very suspicious.

    I know this is an old thread but it happened to me as well. I had an email and did not know what the survey was about so it caused the same concern as the OP. I did raise something in game using the menus. Nobody could tell me if it was related, so I looked at the email again and scrutinized it enough to see part of the URL contained a ticket id that matched the id in the case from the in game support desk tools. I thought it was worth mentioning just in case it prevents any fellow erozeans any undue stress or anxiety.
