    My only problem with your post is that you have all the new jobs coming from current classes. This kind of stuff will take SE months on end to make and take players 1 hour to fully unlock because they most likely already have the base classes at 50...

    The problem I see with the list is a matter of justification. Dark Knight is the DD's DD (seriously, nothing could out-damage a Dark Knight). As such, having it branch from Gladiator doesn't make much sense. If anything it should branch off either Marauder or Lancer (preferably Marauder), though sub-class of Thaumaturge is the most fitting. And Ninja was never a tank job, it was a DD job that could tank (poorly) like Monk, as such while I can see it based off Pugilist, I don't see Gladiator as a sub-class. Archer seems more fitting to Ninja as a sub-class.

    if there was a new class I would like it to be THF, with THF + PUG you could make NIN (1handed katanas), BLM + LNC could make Darkknight (Scythe weapon), THF + MRD could make SAM (great Katana/2handed swords) but I guess that would need to be looked into, THF + ARC for RANGER (Lonbows only), THF + CON for Dancer? (Dual bladed weapons or dual weapons), also what we already have can be some other classes possible, but what I would like the DRK to have is Scythe rather then Great Swords, because you can make the great sword go for SAM. ofcourse you can have WHM + BLM for good Old RDM (rapeirs? Duelist weapons) who would focus on only astral and umbral spells like banish/dia/bio along with enchant weapon skills.

    I want to see SAM come back, DRK, and NIN. The current DPS class, I don't like. Melee I should say since BLM is technically a DPS class.

    Dark Knight would likely require a new class utilizing a 2 handed sword. One could look at the FF Tactics A2 Lanista to be said class, requiring Thaumaturge as the sub class to unlock.

    Ninja tank again? No thanks, its was a stupid concept that should not happen again. If there is an evade tank it should be Samurai. Ninja would be dps.

    More Hybrids!

    I would like to see more hybrids with changed up gameplay mechanics.

    Name:
    Templar's (or something)

    Requirements:
    Paladin + White Mage

    Description:
    The Templar's believe in self sacrifice to protect their allies. Donning heavy armor. Their role in the party serves as a Healer/Support.

    Gameplay:
    • Auras: Templar's casts group auras on their allies to absorb percentage of the damage they receive as well as provide healing over time.
    • Holy Seals: Create seals on the floor which allows Templar to greatly heal while standing within the seal. Allies receive a reduced heal, but also gain small def.
    • Marks: Templar's can mark enemies to reduce the damage dealt or increase damage receive.
    • Prayers: Pray to one of the 12 deities. Only one prayer may be activated per group. Each one providing a diff benefit.
    Templars have some White Mage abilities though their direct heals are weaker.

    Weapon:
    Divine Gauntlet, for prayers and weaving spells through hand gestures.

    Level 3 classes make sense here, to me. White Mage + Black Mage + some DoW = Red Mage, for example. I do like some of the other ideas tossed around. And I totally agree that DoH & DoL classes should be used for some Level 2 classes!
