Oh, Starlord...Simplified? Wait till your like 30ish and tell me that again
Casual? Some aspects yes but once you get to around 30 the leveling curve goes up ( making it hard to get 1 level a day even)
Hardcore? the first 30 levels are Casual I can agree with you on that much, after that it becomes less causal ( of course you can still be casual it will just take a while for you to get 1 level)
(SMN 50 3 days after launch - university student here, so not exactly 24/7 play times)
It's funny, i always hear about people complaining about how people have a hard time beating lfr, and then say it's easier. Wouldn't it be harder if you don't beat it as often? Working with a guild you run with all the time is much easier, as you know what every one has for gear or will do, but the same people complain about pugs and the lack of challenge, and then drop at the first death.
People talk about challenge, but where do you set the limit and what do they mean by it? Is it twitch skills, platforming, gear checks, dps checks? AI isn't good enough for it to really be adaptive, and you wouldn't want that anyway. The boss would ignore tanks, hill the healers then the dps and then the tanks, and you would never win. It's what we do, why don't they? If you set the difficulty for the top raiders, most won't ever even see what they spent all that money to make (Yoshi said less than 100 would see or beat, i forget, all of coil before the patch hits, that's not even 1% of players). Blizzard learned this at the end of BC, spent too much time and money on raids so few saw, so they had the option of putting that money elsewhere or making so more people could do it.
It's a no win scenario for them, what is easy for some is harder for others.
Not all that pleased with the standardized direction. I think we sacrificed a lot of good things just to keep things mechanically basic. A lot of the themes and designs are a bit overblown and corny. There's nothing really keeping me invested in the world at large.
But I will admit they've done well with what they've set up. I just don't know how long it will hold my interest.
Lv.50 is not a permanent level capped.
wait until you see lv.70, lv.99 contents.
3 days eh? with school time? somehow I highly doubt that. Just me being skeptical is all. Take it as you will.
Edit: Then again with any launch of a game/patch people tend to "move along with the crowd". I like to see people say they do it this fast when you leveling from scratch with barely anyone around you ( this is me right now leveling LNC from 1-15).
When the "rush is over" you see things like:
- Finding a hard time doing FATEs due to very little people around to them them with= Time consuming
- Duty Finder will have a hard time finding people due to people not in that level range to do it ( people won't do low level dungeon while being high level 9 times out of 10)
- Levequests are limited (though I have 90 currently) they go fast, and with the how many you get a day you will run out.
The only things you can do is rely on your free company to help push you through those hard levels ( where nobody is around).

The game is fun and beautiful, it is not tedious and I still feel like I accomplish things of varying difficulty all the time.
That is my opinion and the only opinion that matters to me, when it comes to whether Ill play the game.
I was into this game for a short time...I am currently lvl 37 and I haven't played in days. As far as why not? Well it's become a chore to lvl..especially knowing I have to grind other classes for specific abilities. The dungeons are long and boring and I have no desire to farm the 2 at the end for tokens. Chances are I will casually finish out the story at my own pace. Prob drop the game after first paid month. Sad really I was expecting a bit more from this game. Perhaps once they add more content/pvp I will give it another go. Till then I'll go back to the CURRENTLY superior game. WoW.
It is quite easy to get 1 class/job to 50. 3 Days is simply someone who had a lot of time and luck in those last 5 levels.
It will not be so for the second, third, or fourth 50. I have all the time in the world an no fate grinding is getting me a second 50 faster.
This I suspect is going to be more common come the third and fourth week.I was into this game for a short time...I am currently lvl 37 and I haven't played in days. As far as why not? Granted I will not be there for the fourth week. My free time ends then, and I will be doing other things. Things that are less stressful and more fun.
i like it just the way it is![]()
good job!!!!... se keep it up
stay if you enjoy it, leave if not, simple as that.
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
...Yeah...I am agreeing a little bit here. I unlocked Brayflox Longstop this morning and was really waiting to see what new Dungeon Mechanic was going to show up here that I had to figure out and was underwhelmed to say the least. The Tank got to pull the dragon out of the green slime so he did not heal while we all just stayed out of the green slime...oh...no...can't figure that out! The Dungeon was still fun and I still enjoy the game, I just hope that they start testing us a little bit more...I think we can handle it. There is nothing wrong with getting "stuck" on a Dungeon for a little while until you figure it out. But I guess with all the lvl 50's running around everything is on the NET anyway so there goes that idea.
