Need some Advice...

Wow, i can actually post somewhere besides the New Player Help thread for a change!!

ok... that aside, I could use a bit of advice/tips/general feedback?

Currently my 'main' class is Bard (and i plan to keep it as the main), i love it sofar, its fun, and at times challenging (when solo). But, im having issues trying to decide what to focus on as an 'alt' job of sorts. I was thinking Paladin, but ive never been much of the 'leader' in groups.. and with it being a Tank class.. thats sorta what i'd end up as eh?. Thought about Marauder/Warrior, but thats almost identical to the PLD class, just without the shield. Lancer seems like it could be fun, but when i keep picturing myself in that 'heavy' armor of the Gladiator and end up distracted by switching back to that class again....

Ive actualy level'd up Conjuror a bit, figureing i'd give healing a shot, and sofar its easier than i thought it would be... but still not 'set' on going forward with it.

So.... anyone else run into a situation were you cant make up your mind and have some tips? Mainly just trying to find something to 'focus' on (so i dont fill up my war-chest with crap i dont need), thats not simply 'more of the same' of what i have with Archer/Bard.

If you can't make up your mind just based on the descriptions of the classes the best thing you can do is just dive in head first and try them out. Being a tank or healer puts a lot of responsibility on you in a group setting so you have to be able to deal with that. DPS have less personal responsibility, but you still have to play intelligently as some of the later encounters aren't forgiving and having one dead person can signify a wipe in some cases.

If you really do intend to "main" BRD then I highly suggest you level LNC up to get Blood for Blood. I think that's in the mid 30's or low 40's, can't remember. You'll definitely want it though. This will also give you the chance to feel it out and see if it's something you want. If you haven't learned all your PGL abilities as well I'd do that too. If melee DPS is just not feeling right, tanking might not either and then I'd suggest giving the mages a shot.
