    Improve Hunting Log - randomize and reset it, award gil at 50

    As topic. The Hunting Log is a great feature, and it's fun to complete, but once you're done, that's it, no point to doing it any more.

    On top of that, at 50, there's literally no reason to do it for your class at all.

    So, suggestions:
    • Once the Hunting Log is completed, reset it and give a new set of random targets, scattered over the world.
    • At level 50, award Gil instead of XP for completing log target objectives, with a larger bonus and maybe a treasure chest for finishing a log.
    • Add an 'Elite' log that includes dungeon/boss targets. You could provide special rewards for this to encourage players to tackle lower level dungeons/story dungeons, keeping the DF and storyline healthy.
    • Reset and randomize the GC Hunting Log as well. This would give another continuous source of seals besides FATE farming.

    Not a bad idea. I just think anything that you do at level 50 (besides killing mobs) that would reward exp, gives a % of the exp as gil. So if you were going to get say 10k exp you get 500 extra gil or 1k or whatever square decides would be appropriate.

    Tbf though, it's your own fault you rushed to an extent and now have no need for exp. The game is only just came out recently and you're asking for gil to replace exp at level 50? Yes you should earn gil instead of exp, but only for quests...I can't think of why it would be logical to give gil for anything else.

    I support weekly randomized Hunting Logs for gil. Rather that than shitty daily quests where you have to do extra tedious stuff even compared to normal quests like a certain game with orcs in it.

    Or I played legacy and ACN is my only non-50? Or is it my fault for being one of the long term legacy players that supported the game so 2.0 could be a thing?

    I'm totally down with improving the log. Anything to bring it more in line with FATE exp so that you can have a viable leveling experience off on your own that isn't ride teh zerg ball. Maybe a daily reset?

    As to the gil... considering the steps they took to remove gil from the economy and limit how much new gil is manufactured through play, I doubt they will do this as it is a massive influx of gil to the economy.

    I would love to see hunting log completion unlock more difficult high level targets, like they did with FFX arena, but without the repeating factor.

    I think this is a fantastic idea! This will encourage folks to continue to explore and interact with the world. In other MMOs old content was often ignored once no longer useful and this would help to keep these areas alive for newbies.

    I like these ideas. Having more things to do at max is always a welcome sight. Although I am beginning to level other classes, it would be nice to have randomizing logs once they are fully completed. Although Gil for me is not a big issue, it would be nice to get that little bit extra to help the economy flourish more. I know quite a few people who are almost quite literally broke since they despise having to gather/craft in any game. So giving them an option to make Gil is useful to help the economy.
