Pink, "aetherial" gear is not undyable. You can, in fact, change your pink trousers. Try it. You have to have the dye ON you in order to then dye it, and this might becausing an issue. But every pink item I've gotten from a dunegon with absurd colors on it that I've equipped I've been able to dye.

Besides, what's wrong with pink? Seems like you got a pink kink in your think.
