    Also, since when is it forbidden to loose in a game? Seriously? I crave challenge. There is no other incentive for RPGs to form a strategy and gear up accordingly if everything were too easy.
    And dying once? C'moooon. I kind of expect that when I'm new in a dungeon. That's part of the fun, y'know. The discovery, the thrill! Reading guides before the actual fight is not an option for me. That's like starting with the end of a book.

    I agree with this. Challenge is what makes the game fun for me. I'm not a huge fan of having everything optimized for me before I can try it out myself, and then having those optimizations forced on me. I've got nothing against players who just want to try to explain things, of course, that's always appreciated (especially if I'm failing in some obvious way).
