I can´t create a character

I have a friend who is trying to enter the EU server Moogle, has proven to enter the 12 pm and 7 am and the server is closed.

If you create a pj on another server is going to be migrated at the time that enable the server places EUMOOGLE.

SE will be allowing character transfers some time soon, the original plan was mid-September not sure if that's still the case.

BUT, note this:

1) the original plan was there will be a real-world cash cost for this, it will not be free and SE haven't mentioned allowing free transfers due to the login/creation problems since release.

2) SE have also not said categorically ALL servers will be allowed as destinations for transfers and given the fact many servers are already over-loaded I wouldn't be surprised to see some servers not allowing transfers 'in' for some time.

So, it is LIKELY at some time transfers for players like your friend WILL be available, but right now there is no indication it will be free nor any guarantee it'll happen any time soon on any particular server.

Just posting this to warn you, I fear many are going to be disappointed by assuming SE will allow everyone a free transfer to anywhere they want 'soon', I don't expect this to happen.

or what are the options for such a person to enter the server

• Either you gotta do it during odd hours and just stare at the server list in character creation hitting refresh until it opens
• Wait...Cuz character creation is closed on a lot of servers and make one on a diff. server until character transfers are available.

Unfortunately due to the higher turn out they weren't ready for, we're kinda in a bind until then.

Wait to see how Thursday's server updates work. Last week's were pathetic, SE added a single server to each region group and it was full before the end of the day, God knows what prompted Yoshi to think adding just 3 servers total would make any huge difference to the character creation lock problem: it did help hugely the 1017 problem, as shown by the near total absence of reports of the in the last week, but it barely scratched the surface with creation problems.
