Asking S-E to Make a Way to Report RMT sellers through Chat

I understand there are many posts out there complaining about the RMT sellers. This is one to do something about it. Go to Leave A Suggestion under Support Desk.

Feel free to use what I wrote here. Just be curteous. Send it every day. Hopefully they will get the hint that this is something we need.

Subject: Need for a chat option to report RMT sellers

Please create a way for us to report gil sellers that spam through shout and tells. An option to do so by clicking their name and blacklisting them is in pretty much every MMO that is out there.

They way it is done now is too tedius, has people ALT+TAB out of the game and possibly crash, as well as all the information needed could be easily collected in that option (name, date, time, server, chat channel used etc).

Those people could then be placed on the blacklist automatically because they are not stupid, making difficult names to spell or read.

All of the information can be gathered within the game and you can also just support a In-Game Support Ticket for Harassment, however they have already confirmed that they are working on a feature to make this an easier process even still.

I think a /report RMT "User Name" function would be useful, especially if it auto-blacklisted them too

It is quite a serious issue at times, given that sellers spam walls of text for long periods of time, rendering general chat useless.

I have a limited amount of time to play the game, and don't want to waste 1 second dealing with a problem in the service I'm paying to recieve.

I play on ps3, so clicking a name or typing a message isnt' fun or easy.

The spammers aren't idiots - they spam so quickly I 'd have to make my chat log bigger just to see a name, and then that name is hard to read and re-write.

I'm suppposed to be playing a game, not policing the community.


2 fixes - swift STRONG action against rmts, AND more importantly strong action against anyone who buys from RMTs (If they have no market they go away).
