GLA and PLD not allowed to loot "Need" for GLA/PLD items in dungeons!!!

This was announced before, they were restricting NEED/GREED based on the ROLE the gear is designed for, not the classes. They found GLD PLD WAR MRD were NEED rolling on DPS gear that was far inferior to the gear required to perform their actual role in the groups. The DPS had to compete with each other and the TANK for the gear they used for their role and were missing drops. I know this from experience in the betas when you could NEED any gear that had your class name on it, I was far out leveling dungeons before I was getting drops from them because I was competing for 3/4 people on the items.

but you should know that getting prefect TANK gear need to be very very lucky...only 5-10% chance of getting it...DPS gear are just everywhere...so it is very unfair drop...if still restrict GLA or PLD to loot their items, seriously no one will love to grind dungeons for items anymore...

Incorrect, both the casting gear and tank gear drop way more often than the melee DPS gear. This coming from someone whose main jobs are PLD, SCH and SMN. I have had a much easier time getting gear of those jobs in dungeons than my FC mates that run DRGs and MNKs.

Also, why would you roll need on inferior gear? Need should be used for gear you need, if what you have is better, you should use greed.

I have had plenty of runs where nothing but DPS gear drops. I have also had runs where nothing but tank stuff drops. RNG is RNG. The gear might still be an upgrade for them even if it is better suited for DPS and vice versa. It's easy to out level your gear before reaching the next tier.

TLDR: Roll for role, RNG=RNG.
