Is there anyway to change to a different grand company without getting to the max rank?
Is there anyway to change to a different grand company without getting to the max rank?
Seriously please someone respond. I just joined the twin adder and I have spent maybe 1000 Gil traveling to and from ulda. I hate it. I want to leave the company and join the immortal flames.
I only know that you can change after max rank, dont think there is another way
Just set the Home point on one "side" to travel for free and favourite location on other - the travel cost will drop to 1/4 ... frankly - in the "big picture" of the game - you'll need to go to GC HQ less often and you can access the company chests from anywhere plus you'd need to travel to follow your quests too so it shouldn't be really that much of issue I'd say.
I made the mistake of choosing the wrong Grand Company. After learning the only way to change was to obtain max rank in a grand company (probably the stupidest requirement ever) I just remade my character.
I don't know why but I can't access the company chests as well as buy company armor. The npc says I am already a member of another company. I think it's because I was a member of the immortal flames in 1.0 don't ask me why I chose a different one it doesn't make sense to me anymore.Just set the Home point on one "side" to travel for free and favourite location on other - the travel cost will drop to 1/4 ... frankly - in the "big picture" of the game - you'll need to go to GC HQ less often and you can access the company chests from anywhere plus you'd need to travel to follow your quests too so it shouldn't be really that much of issue I'd say.
As states below I joined twin adder and I wish I joined the immortal flames
I completely agree worst requirement ever you should be able to leave at anytime just if you leave say before you reach the petty officer rank teir you loose all your ranks you got and in order to leave you MUST be accepted by another company. The only reason I say must is because you had to join a company to begin with.
