so right now i cant get any good exp in fates

If i dont turn up with under 10% to go during the FATE, i find it very easy to get gold, even without using flash, maybe you should try harder during FATE's since we dont have the luxury of spamming blizzard/aoes

Something doesn't add up to me. Im melee, im lucky if I can get more than one shot per mob. I get gold in almost every FATE.

Are you trying to solo the fate without a party?
Are you doing really low level fates or fates above your level?

There are many types of fates, killing lots of easy mobs is just one. There are collect and turn in fates, there are big boss fates, both you can do alone and still get gold (alone as in no party and a zerg is there with you)

Its really easy to get into fate parties (or "Fate Trains" as they are called on my server and possibly all the rest)

i solo fates all the time with monk on my alt character... aoe, flash, aoe,flash etc etc.. gold everytime with 18k+ xp

What level is your character?
What level is the fate your doing?

I duo with my hubby and unless we get there late I often get gold, with my hubby getting gold about 80% of the time.
He normally following me to fates so gets there a little later then I do.

On a side note without meaning to hijack the thread can someone explain to me the point of getting a parting for fates?
The only time I see it helping is tagging mobs for H. logs, or gather and turn in fates.

As a PLD, I don't use flash at all unless it's an escort mission (since you have to protect the NPC). I just spam Fast Blade and Riot Blade with the occasional Shield Toss while I'm running to a far away enemy. Spamming Flash won't really do anything for you (especially since you have to wait for the Blind debuff to disappear before Flash works again). And it doesn't really net you much credit.

Best way to assure credit is to be in a FATE group.
