Im doing this on a controller and i always have my tank as target from the beggining to the end of the dungeon, but there are sometimes when it will just heal myself instead of the target even twice in a row and then it will cure my target, it has only happened to me on controller so far and i double checked that i was not using a macro just to be sure but it still happened :/ i´ll try to record it next time so i can watch it in detail

I also play on a controller and I always lock my target on the tank as well.
I noticed that when I am trying to cast stuff really fast, sometimes I press the arrow keys without holding down L2/R2 correctly, and instead of casting it, I am just changing the target to the boss or whatever we are attacking (even though i am still locked on the tank). When this happens, the heal/buff will always apply to myself instead of the tank (which is normal). I am not sure if this may apply to your situation, maybe it's just my fat fingers playing tricks!

I've noticed this has been happening to me whenever I panic and spam the button to try and get the heal off as soon as possible.

I'm using macros in this format:

    /ac "cure" <mo>
    /ac "cure" <t>
    /ac "cure" <me>

and I assume that what's happening is that the multiple button presses are trying to execute the first two commands while the GCD is active and then just defaulting to the last one when the GCD has finished.

I'm not actually certain though, I haven't done extensive tests or anything - just a possible cause to keep in mind. It would actually be quite nice to know if anyone knows of a way to use that kind of macro without this happening.
