Yeah I'm in the same boat. It happens with other games as well. Even with a fresh install of EVERYTHING. I can play pretty fine for a while but sometimes it crashes as I get on or when I go into an instance.

I changed my password (just to see if maybe the guy a few posts above me was right) with no luck.
I started the computer with only the necessary services, and it just crashed.
My event viewer is giving me three faulting modules:
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\nvd3dum.dll
Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\game\ffxiv.exe
The game's exe is the least frequent, with ntdll.dll being by far the most common.
I think I figured out what my problem was. Two of my sticks of RAM are horrible. I swapped them out and haven't had any issues so far.
