I personally enjoy crafting, but it takes a long time to level up any crafting class for profit, because then you also have to level up mining/botany/fishing to support it unless you want it to be yet another gil sink. Crafting should be optional, and for profit. You should never be required to level up crafting to even AFFORD to play your normal class (Teleports/Repairs). As it stands right now the only way to make relevant money is by leveling up a crafting class.

I 'rushed' to 50 while exploring every zone (every map is done.), Reading every line of text, and doing every single dungeon at least once. I also farmed a few of the pets. I am now farming Amdapor Keep 8 times a week. Leveling my other jobs while in queue (Including tradecrafts)

I'm enjoying the hell out of my game and apparently getting the best of both worlds. So let me ask you. Why didn't you 'rush' to 50? I've experienced everything you have, only 20 more levels of it o.O

an excellent counter statement, and a good way of highlighting the objective nature of deeming something good or bad. personally I make it a note to never forget its a game. and that enjoyment is the true key to the game, whether you spend 5 hours playing or 1.

Because some players have more time on their hands and want to feel like they've accomplished something worthwhile. Seriously though, everyone has different leveling and play styles.

I personally prefer to save my eyesight then grind endlessly in a short timeframe to get to level 50. I think it's kind of gross and unhealthy sitting in front of your monitor or TV screen for a long period of time too.

To each their own, however.

The funnest part of an MMO (for me) is leveling up. And in this game there is an infinite ability to level different classes/professions etc. Anyone who is bored because they rushed to 50 needs to find another game. This game is for people who want to enjoy leveling and exploring etc.

Honestly? I play 1.5-2.5 hours a day, 6-7 hours a day on the weekend, and I'm level 47 on my Warrior, level 43 on my armorer, 36 miner, and a bunch of other sub 20's.

If you aren't near 50 at this point, you really aren't trying to even play.
