I spent a good hour or two strutting around Gridania with my pimp hat, heels, speedo, and manstrap while popping sparklers and mixing the colors for the precious few seconds that it worked to make yellow. Are you absolutely sure you don't have any latent resentment issues at people who have appeared to levelled faster than you have? Because if the purpose of this thread is to convince people to change their ways to better match your ideals with a display of magnanimous and enlightening didacticism, you are probably going to be sorely disappointed at the lack of epiphanies people are going to experience.

Not to mention if you're on a Legacy server, there is a very high chance that you will be up to your armpits in level 50s from day one, which might give you this impression.

The 1017ocaust kept me from progressing steadily through the main quest, setting me back 300 mythology tokens.

If people right now aren't rushing to endgame because that's what they ordinarily do in MMOs, then I'd will wager it is because they don't want to "lose" any more mythos. Whether you beat the MQ, the timer is running and you can't stockpile mythos allowances like leves or anything like that.

Getting an item 1 or 2 weeks before others do. Does it really matter that much?
