Gearscore is coming!

The only people complaining about ilevel checks are people trying to skip tiers. If you follow the progression of the game, you'll have 0 issues. But if you try to go from AF to garuda, youre going to die, your group will fail because you held them back and there is absolutely nothing stopping this kind of behavior. If you had a group of 7 people at titan hard and you were missing a tank, and the duty finder gave you a tank in AF and a lv.40 weapon PLUS you cant kick them, what are you supposed to do? keep leaving and re-entering 15 minutes later until you get someone decent? just prevent tier skipping with ilvl checks.

Ok I'm trying to gear up for Amdapor Keep since I just hit 50. Should I buy stuff from the AH? Or run castrum meridianum until I get more darklight stuff? and how much darklight do I need to start doing AK?

I want to catch up with my brother but I want to know the best way. I know it's not the thread subject but its better than starting a new thread for this question. And it will probably help people who are QQing about gearscore.

WoW has had enough time to perfect the gear score system, and it's very fair - your gear must be at least a certain score in order to enter harder dungeons and raids, and it's not terribly hard to get the proper gear to do so. Someone can be a very talented player, but without gear that's up to snuff (or at least decent), it makes it impossible or at least very hard on yourself and your party to complete the content.

That said, if this is done right, I'm happy for it.
