Ah ok thought you meant just now because of time posted. I got error 9000, turns out another pc on my network was sucking the connection. If your brother does not know much about computer and software he may have a bunch of crap on it. Another issue is your internet speed depending on what you have may not be fast enough for two at same time, this game can suck connection. Then there is the usual if your wired or wireless, how old is router, how is modem etc. Not sure if you read about these any where else so trying to help by thinking of things.
