PS3 Headsets

Just on the topic of using a keyboard for chat on the PS3:

Is it possible to use mouse, keyboard, and gamepad at the same time on PS3? E.g. keyboard for chat, pad for general gameplay, and mouse for manipulating the UI? I'm guessing this is how pad users on the PC operate. The biggest issue with the PS3 (IMHO) is selecting the chat box in the first place.

It is possible, I use a wireless usb keyboard / mouse combo from logitech in addition to my ps3 controller. I use the kb for chat, and controller for 99% of UI. Only need the mouse for moving lots of items between inventory and retainers. (for convenience)

Yes - that's what I do. For some keyboard function you'd need to deactivate "Direct Chat" option in setting.

As it's bluetooth (or USB) you can most certainly use your PS3 headset on your PC as well.
