Cross Server Friends List... Please

I am fine with having the Duty Finder, however it seems to me if you are going to have Cross Server grouping then you really need to go all in. I have been with most of the members are of my FC since the start of 1.0 and do as much content as I can with them. However sometimes people are doing different things and just need to strike out on your own. THis is obviously where the Duty Finder comes in and it 'can' get the job done.

With all the bad people I have come across I have also come across many good people I would love to have on my friend list to group with again. Not to mention I have friends spread across several servers (Do in no small part to the character restrictions.)

I would really like to see, hope you seriously consider adding in a cross server friend tab that would allow you to cross server chat, invite people from several different servers into a party and then Queu people into the duty finder.

All in or all out IMO.

And to reiterate the point. I just did Garuda Story mode for the first time, none of my DF cross server group had ever done it. It took 7-10 attempts as we learned the mechanics of the fight. But again I had a patient group, we shard feedback and got it done. Would be nice to have loved to have them on my friends list for the future.

So much this. I reached the point where I started assuming every DF party I ever was in would be made up of people only from different servers, so I stopped trying to friendlist them. Tonight, during a run in the Sunken Temple, I did a double take when 2 of them ended up being from Ultima as well. We all got along great, the run went very well, and at the end our BLM was saying she was sad she couldn't add any of us afterwards. I said the same thing, and then the healer laughed at me about how the BLM was the ONLY one not from Ultima in there.

Rambling story short -- lots of people you find on DF are meh. But there are lots that have been awesome, and it sucks to see them disappear into the ether as soon as a dungeon is over just because I'm on Ultima and they're on Tonberry. Cross server friends list would be utterly amazing.

I started down this path about a week ago.

I like the cross-server aspect, but I wish there was any way we could keep those groups together. It's hard to go from an amazing group to a bad one and know that you had no choice, if you're playing russian rou-dungeon finder.

This would be a good idea it needs to happen. If they can't do it maybe they can give of a option like they do with the blacklist but we would use it for add people that way we will have a higher chance to group up with them when we use the duty finder.

I have to agree with this, most of the time the duty finder pulls in alot of tools... but every once and awhile you'll not only get a good group of players, but a good group of people as well...

Wholeheartedly agree. I've met some great players (and people) in DF and I would've loved to add them ; ;. One of them even asked "add me to your friends please" and it broke my heart when I knew I would probably never meet those players again...

Please Yoshi-P, think about this, find a way to code this. Adding people from other servers and talking to them cross-server would be so great and would bring a lot to the community.
