There is a reason that every MMO in history patches in the early AM hours. This is sheer laziness. Regardless of timezone you are patching from 5pm-3am or 8pm - 6am. This window covers the prime playing time for the vast majority of subscribers.

Ya those are American MMOs genius. This is a Japanese MMO. Go ahead and turn idiot mode off please, you are going to break the game.
