Those who had played FFXI are use to this kind of stuffs because OF COURSE Japan is 11 hrs diference between EST. So for Japan people is not prime so they arent affected like us. So get use to it because japan controls/own this game.

Yo OP. I'm in NA too and it isn't prime time here. Its 8pm - 5am get over it being in your time zones IDEAL playtime. Also, NA isn't actually the majority of the players. There's a reason the NA and EU are in one data center. Its because the 2 countries together have similar numbers as Japan, Australia and all the Oceanic countries.

I highly doubt any of the devs are on an Hourly based wage. When you have a multi-million dollar product such as ff14 you cater to your largest user-base.
