Can't Access Lodestone?

Every time I attempt to log in, I get a notification saying I need to create a character to gain access. I recently deleted my first character and began my second. Does this have anything to do with not being able to log in?

Do I need to wait for it to sync or something? Only reason I'm asking is because my character is displayed on Mog Station (and she even shows up here), but I still can't get in :/
