SMN/ACN on Gamepad

Do any of you play SMN/ACN on the gamepad? Im on PS3 and using keyboard/mouse isnt really an option with the distance of my seat/tv and the PS3. I find it extremely fustrating and quite difficult to target mobs and trying to spread my DoTs around. Anyone have any suggestions? Keep in mind that this is pre-Bane.

Hold the left or right trigger (L2/R2, I think they can also be called?) on the controller, and hit the left or right bumper (L1/R1). This cycles through all enemies in your line of sight, ignoring players and pets. It's useful for just about everything, but has been extremely helpful in crowded FATEs.

I will try this tonight when I get home. Its been really tough. I wouldnt be able to play WHM if I wanted with gamepad the way I have been doing it.
