Yes! Transmog was a horrible gold sink, which arguably, FFXIV would be best to avoid right now.
RIFT's system of simply placing gear into costumes slots which overrode your 'battle gear' was simple and worked on so many level, not to mention the ability to unlock multiple 'outfit' slots so you could flick through different outfits with ease. Would definitely prefer this system over something like transmog (yuck), and I'm pretty sure I recall people talking about this was how they planned to do it anyway, so go team!

Well I hate when people get mad that they mention WoW when the person played WoW and not whatever game you mentioned. I referenced something I knew and you will just have to get over it. Obviously everyone else knew what I was talking about.

Edit: Also how can it be the one of the worst games with a bigger fanbase than any other MMO to date? Don't try to attempt to make fun of a game just because it is a competitor of whatever game you send your fanboism towards. Only reason WoW is dying is because it is just so old. No other reason.

Yea I didn't like how the cost of it was implemented or how it attached its look to a piece of gear. But obviously all I meant to say was a way to make gear different. Apparently I didn't make that clear...

moreso than the goldsink of transmog, it forced you into a single set still since you didn't keep multiple gear sets typically (some did, but they mix and matched which further complicated it) the costume slots that started with lotro are still the best way to go as it makes it easy for a player to change their look on a whim and will encourage people buying more gear for vanity.
