Look guys I want this game to succeed, but with a fanbase like the people in this thread xiv is doomed forever due to the stupidity :P

No you don't want it to succeed you want it to copy and mold itself to something many of us don't want to play. You want Rift? Go play it, PLEASE. You are calling us stupid? For what? Supporting the game we love and actually making helpful suggestions to see the game grow become stable and bring in profit? You mention Aion. Were you there at launch? Did you see all the players mass leave the game when the servers were unstable as all crap? Were you? Because I was, the game was UNPLAYABLE for me and I quit then and never went back. You mention all these other games like they are models to be upheld, they have their own issues and it's not because some of them have a following of sheep that FFXIV should be the same lukewarm package.

You care about the game seek out existing threads and make actual constructive suggestion instead of this utter diatribe please that will help the game not this utter troll nonsense. It's also pissing me off your type inspires this type of posts from me.. ><

Who can support a community that constantly disregards any sort of improvement in favor of ridiculous "unique" features like market wards? God forbid someone mention any other successful MMO in a thread without getting jumped by the super cool secret exclusive club whose members are the VERY FEW amount of people actually enjoying this garbage. We paid $80, we have accounts to access the forums, we're going to complain. We were sold a pile of crap on a plate, and maybe some members of the community enjoy eating shit, but I would much rather have a steak. I want to see this game succeed, but my vision of this game's future don't involve the armory system, awful repetitive zones, a poorly thought out battle system, or half-assed items and content.

You all whine about people wanting to change your beloved 4.0 game even if it'll be for the better. To me it just seems selfish that you would even want to keep it in the state that it's in. It will already take a miracle to bring the population up to a decent number and you'd rather jeopardize that by having them focus on the few people who have low enough standards to enjoy this MMO and defend it from any and all criticism like its their mother?
