I predict this thread will have 35 replies from people who think they can program or think they know how programming works while disregarding this customer's dissatisfaction which trumps the behind the curtain bs. Everyone has their threshold to tolerate this poo poo game and Greencactuar has finally cracked. Understand that he isn't demanding the impossible but merely asking for a few standard features found in most mmos. Even XI had chocobos at NA launch, ya know?

You do know FFXI was launched 18 months AFTER the japanese release dont you, I am seeing the FFXI had this at the NA release FFXI had that at NA release, but that was already an 18 month old game which people either forget or never knew.

If you want to compare FFXIV to FFXI it needs to be the Japanese release not the NA release.

I disagree with the OP in most of his rant, the game has made alot of progress in the time it has been out, but SE do need to work faster.

If anyone reads the letters from the producer what you will know is they are basicly rebuilding a game they already spent 5 years to make which takes time.

I do agree however that they could do with going a bit faster, or atleast post an update on where they are in the production of the large scale changes that has been announced in Yoshi-P's letters
