I want FFIX combat gameplay with Rift engine and Vanguard progression. Vanilla Vanguard.
I don't want a new eggcap.

Translation: Make WoW.
I think the OP wants FF14 to become Rift! I'm sorry, but this isn't rift, go play that game, thanks. I do not want 99% of your "needed" changes.
Why does everyone want this game to be a rift/WOW clone with prettier graphics? I don't get it. STOP SUGGESTING ALL GAMES TO BE THE SAME

Sadly Op you're going to be on your own most of the time, because everyone who agrees with you, quit and never came back
While I agree with somewhat of what people say, there are a lot of fundamentals which should have been done now.
But this is Square Enix, They are notoriously slow at everything they do.
Indeed it is square enix, which is why with the exception of FFXIII every game that was under their development studio branches released on time, and some even released months earlier because they finished it quickly.
Even then XIII was only delayed due to the PS2 > PS3 move and White Engine development.

Think you missed the point there lol, on time or not, the release dates were way out of proportion to what you'd expect and what other studios were able to accomplish. FF12 was 5 years after 10, 4 years after 11, and was still a ps2 game. Even Wada knows their team is slow.Indeed it is square enix, which is why with the exception of FFXIII every game that was under their development studio branches released on time, and some even released months earlier because they finished it quickly.

Nope, when people say "SE is slow", yet they've kept just about every release date with the exception of FFXIII for obvious reasons, you can't really say they're a slow company, especially considering:
FFX: May 2002FF12 was 5 years after 10, 4 years after 11
Unlimited Saga: December 2002
FFX2: March 2003
Front Mission 4: December 2003
FFX2ILM: Feb 2004
and so on. So I didn't miss the point, it's just people blow Square's "slowness" out of proportion because of their personal beliefs on how fast they should be pumping out updates in XI and XIV. Wada also believes the general public should be testers for any of their MMOs even past beta.
