Is that for you to decide? who is in charge here to tell who should stay and who should leave? right now this game needs more players not less. Its SE's responsibility to make sure that unhappy players do not keep quitting. Thank GOD that smart individuals at SE made it free on monthly basis and that is the reason a lot of players are still hanging around. Otherwise this game would have sunk faster than Titanic.

It's not that people don't want to chase them out, it's just people are sick and tired of hearing something that boils down to "OMG THIS GAME IS THE SUXX0RZ!", we all know the game is in a bad state and Yoshida is pretty much building this game from the bottom up. So why complain about it? It's not going to help in any way.

I'm all about the lore too, what's the point of any RPG online or offline if the story is crap? There isn't one, that's one of the major flaw of most MMOs is the lack of a coherent story. There's a story but it does not flow as it does in FF online for most of them.

I love how the new little sidequests actually tie in to the main storyline, like the Gridania lowbie quests where you help out getting ready for the elemental festival dance, and then you actually get to see it happen in the main story. Yay!

Half of your ideas that the game NEEDS is pure opinion based. And fyi, the game has only been out since September. That's 7 months. Not even close to a year. And lore helps everything. No sense having a game where nothing makes sense

But to actually address all your points :

Make instance'd pve dungeons. For every level and then have heroic level 50 instances.

They are, things take time to create.

Add more notorious monsters that drop gear as well as a type of currency like Plaques of achievement for example.

They did. 1.17 added what, 20 NMs? All of which have their own specific gear drops. Beastmen already drop special currency.

Stop reskinning mobs and thinking by making it bigger its okay. Yes wow does this, but xiv has only 5 unique looking mobs which they've just reskinned

This is one of your only half-decent arguments. There's not a lot of variety in the game but I figure that's coming eventually.

Add armor thats not reskinned. Same thing you did with the mobs. All armor is the same just recolored or something.

The armor isn't 100% recolors. Different tiers of the same type of clothing are similar but have their differences in the details. Even colors are more vibrant on the higher tier stuff.

Don't add more classes yet. First fix the main issues once you do so add new classes later.

If you really must add PVP which at this point of time not many people care about since ff is typically a PVE game add battlegrounds and arena. Don't rush it either and take your time, but don't take a year to add one UI change like you typically do.

Nerf graphics? You guys pissed off atleast 50% of the people who wanted to play xiv because the graphics are so intense. Even though the game's shiny its hideously looking. Yes look at the water graphics, look at the nature, look at the copy pasted terrain. Now lets look at WoW, Rift, and Aion. All decent graphical games, but they're all more beautiful then xiv due to there terrain.

The graphics are fine, it's the diversity of some of the environment that's lacking. Something I'm sure they'll address eventually.

Add achievements a small thing, but every small thing matters in an mmo.

Even a "small thing" like this takes a bit of time to create.

We arguably don't even need an AH at this point. Mailbox would be nice but it's a luxury feature.

Now don't listen to the people who say this game is fine the way it is and just needs endgame. These people are people who are idiots in real life and have mental issues and thinks SE cares for there customer base when everyone obviously knows SE could give a damn about there customer base.

Some people actually like the game as it is but can see there is room for improvement. No game is perfect and this one certainly has it's flaws but they're being addressed.

Add chocobos its been almost a year and we still have yet to see any. Give it a .dot hack type of mount system where you start with an egg and you can feed the pet and it eventually grows up to be a mount.

It's been 7 months, just a little over half a year. We'll have them eventually, they just have more pressing matters to attend to.

My best advice to give SE at this point of time would be to completely scratch the game though and have yoshi go play rift hit cap try endgame and do the same with aion and wow. Afterwards take the things from there and notice how 99% of gamers could give a damn about graphics. Make a game that looks like aion, but has a nice fluid combat system. Afterwards do all the things I said above.

Yeah because we want to wait another 5+ years for him to go play all those games to end-game and come back and make a WoW-clone. Great idea!

They're going to. Have you ever looked at a map of Eorzea? We don't have access to quite a few areas just on this continent, let alone the few new ones they've been hinting at recently.

You can do this now. Solo isn't as viable as group play but it really shouldn't be. Honestly though you can grind and make decent progress if you know what you're doing.

Stop taking 3 weeks to fix a small UI change or something otherwise you won't get any progress done.

I'd say 2 updates a month is pretty great speed for a game to be updated. Most other MMOs I've played take over 3 months between updates.

does every game that come out have Endgame? the last time i check they don't too they release there first expansion pack which is 1+year away from the release. For all you know that could be ps3 release just wait or go play something else that all i can say really.
