d It does seem like this is becoming difficult to watch, If only because 1.18 is now made in the most important patch now, being few to the grinding machine of the forum speculation war, the deciding battle upon which will gain control of it.
At the moment the only thing going for this game is the graphics. But at this rate, the game won't be ready until its graphics are obsolete.

Sometimes I'm vulgar, but you... geez. Now don't listen to the people who say this game is fine the way it is and just needs endgame. These people are people who are idiots in real life and have mental issues and thinks SE cares for there customer base when everyone obviously knows SE could give a damn about there customer base.
My best advice to give SE at this point of time would be to completely scratch the game though and have yoshi go play rift hit cap try endgame and do the same with aion and wow. Afterwards take the things from there and notice how 99% of gamers could give a damn about graphics. Make a game that looks like aion, but has a nice fluid combat system. Afterwards do all the things I said above.
And you are talking about a dude who has 15+ years of MMO experience, and you talk about AION? RIFT?
You won the internet. Now get the F*CK out of here and MAKE ME A F*CKING SAMMICH!

1.) It's been out for 7 months, which is almost half of your so-called "year".
2.) Don't forget that they are changing some of the foundations of the game. Like the battle system, etc. How can they implement end-game content when they are changing things like the battle system and maybe even the lore of the job/class system? Not to mention things like earthquakes/tsunamis that delayed the progress.

Another topic that's a waste of forum space.

This game has multiple mounts. You can build your houses anywhere. You can build castles. You can seige castles. There are hundreds of quests. You can swim, climb, jump, and even swing with ropes. Magic animations don't look like crap. There are instanced dungeons. You can build your own ships. You can sail your own ships. There are no zone lines. You can sail to new areas. You can ride pillion on other people's mounts. There is mounted combat.
And it's still in beta...
It's pretty typical that MMOs today have a similar amount of features during beta. FFXIV released in an alpha state, and it will never be able to compete with upcoming MMOs at the rate it's releasing content. SE needs to invest way more manpower if it wants to stand a chance.

I Have to agree with this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UEc5...layer_embedded

That's why I encourage SE to do something different with this game.
