I did mine in Limsa Lominsa near Costa del Sol, the FATE was level 32 and it was called The Return of the King (I believe). Each time you complete the FATE you will be rewarded with 30 ash. Like Jeuan said, you only need 90 ash if you want to get everything. 30 ash will net you a swimsuit set.

Also, only swimsuits are available for this events..no yukatas.

Ohh... rightt... there are the Ash thingies from Costa Del Sol are for.... =(
Did the FATE a million times but destroyed all ash because I found no use for it, must be said, didn;t Google far enough really.
Time to do it 3 more times then =)

My character is in Ul'dah and the FATE location is in Central Thanalan just north east to the exit from The Steps of Thal. If I remember correctly you need to collect 90 wet bomb ash to buy all the bikini pieces.

Thanks! I was not able to login for over a week so I was worried I had missed out on the event. I easily found that fate close to Ul'Dah and got the necessary ashes. Good thing my alt is male and the bottom swimsuit was inexpensive, so I spent the rest of the ashes for the sprinklers .
