    Dungeon Limit

I think it'd be cool if they had like a Limit on how many times you can do a Dungeon per day. Maybe 3 per day tops. Not all Dungeons, just a specific dungeon.

Might help with all these people complaining about not enough for repairs, make some stuff rarer.

Seeing posts about some guy running a End-game Dungeon 13 times a day and complaining he's not making enough for repairs...even if each Dungeon only takes 30 minutes...still almost 7 hours of Dungeons.

The average play-time is 1-2 hours according to most MMORPG studies. They should not adjust the entire games economy to satisfy people who nolife the game. This is coming from someone who does 3-4 hours. I don't think they game should modify itself around my play style. I should modify myself to the play style.

Instead of saying "Give me enough Gil doing what I want to do so I don't have to do anything else!"

    Diversity.

I mean, if you can't Dungeon Dungeon Dungeon all day, you'll maybe try a craft, or some Guildhest, or Levequest, or hunt some monster with good drops in a Fate, or the like. You'll experience other facets of the game. Instead of just...dungeons.

    I'm speechless.

I feel so disappointed in the world we live in today, and I fear for the future.

How is it possible to be so blind and lack basic reading comprehension?

Make the Wanderer's Palace also drop Mythology stones and up the amount dropped from Hard Mode Primals to at least 10 and you won't see someone spamming the same one 13+ times a day.
(Well some will still but at least it would create some variety)

so then i should pay 15 bucks a month, to play 1-2 hours a day? I am going to guess no game has ever done this because it is a terrible terrible idea. While youre at it why not have them limit the number of mobs you can kill, items you can craft, and nodes you can harvest. perhaps 100 of each?

Never post a thread with your opinions, ideas, suggestions or anything else when it comes to all this 'NOT ENUFF GILZ' stuff. You're obviously not allowed and it gives the right for everyone to flame you and call you an idiot when they don't agree because maturity.

If people put forward a good argument, by all means, but everyone saying that gil deficiency is self-inflicted or not any issue (from what I've read) simply don't. Most suggestions fall back getting you to do things that require significant time investments for minimal gains (FATE farming), especially if you want these gains to line up with your repair bills from other activities (dungeons/raids), or imply that players should partake in a portion of the content which they have no interest in, and incidentally, if everyone did suddenly do it, it wouldn't be as lucrative as it is currently. Oh, and lets not forget people that like to say the issue doesn't exist, because they are level 30 and have 70,000 gil and their repairs are only 400, oh, and they're still making gil!

It is like saying climate change doesn't exist, because the significant effects haven't hit yet.

I love how all these counter arguments to the gil issue is "do something other than run dungeons". What other service do you pay for where you can't use it the way you intended, and was lead to believe you could, and are instead forced to (and encouraged by what seems a decent chunk of the community), to use parts of that service you don't want.

Please, go pay monthly fees to join some swimming complex, and let them tell you you can only use the pools once a week, unless you want to work there part time, then they'll upgrade it to three times a week. (Did I mention you still have to pay them, and won't get any monetary compensation for your part time work?)

Eitherway, you miss the fact that you earn less gil than you spend, so even if you limit dungeon runs to 3 a day, you'd still be spending the same amount of gil over time, and earning (or not) the same amount of gil over time, it would just be a longer time. Also, if everyone was gathering/crafting, who would buy the items? Everyone gloating about having plenty of cash because they sell on the Market Board would have buttloads of competition, would get undercut into oblivion, and no one would be making any money any more.

Maybe we can negotiate with Square to lower our monthly subscription because we're only using a small portion of the game, and not gathering/crafting. Some how I don't think that'll fly with them so why should the customers have to change their play style? FF14 is great, but some people simply aren't interested in gathering/crafting, and not only should they not be forced to, but if they are continually punished for their play style, eventually they'll leave and move on.

You're right in one thing; there will be those who move on. Unfortunately, this game may not be for everyone. However, it was never promised that you could do absolutely nothing but run dungeons in this game and still stand on your own economically. No MMORPG promises such things. Make no mistake that you are indeed free to play the way you want, but just as it is in life, there are consequences to your actions.
