Action Bar "books" rather than one individual 3 sets.

Another thread gave me this idea, but it's not really an extension, per-se, but more so, action bar books (much like FFXI's Macro 'books')

(this has nothing to do with macro system so don't tell me 'Just use the macro system', anyway just hear me out)

My main goal in FFXIV is to eventually level all classes up. That said, I switch around classes frequently as I level them up from 0 to 20, and one of the noticeable annoyances is the constant need to change up the action bar.

That said, I'd like to see an action bar "book" that are tied to your current class, and would change when you change classes. I find myself depending on the action bar, more so than the macro system at this time.

Basically, instead of REMOVING actions from the action bars when you change classes, I'd rather a whole new blank slate of action bars to fill it out. I think this makes more sense to people.

For example: For lancers, I have well, the lancer actions, with some abilities from other classes. So, when I change a class, especially starting a NEW class, the lancer action bars would be saved, and then a new blank set of action bars would be given to me, for me to fill out with the abilities related to that class. I think you know where I'm getting at now.

They said they're going to be making drastic changes to the battle system, so they might take away the bar all together, we never know until Yoshi-San tells us.

While this is true, the one thing I always liked about the battle system is the said action bar, and I'd very much like to expand it to have a unique action bar per class.

This is exactly what I would like to see! Using the macro system to change your action bars is cumbersome and inexact. It takes forever to change 3 bars worth of actions from one class to another, and sometimes the macro will fail if it tries to remove an ability that is set to your class (like a Gladiator's shield or an Archer's refill).

Also, I've lost track of the number of times that I've been on a high level crafter, then switched to a low level crafter real quick to do something, then switched back to the high level crafter, only to find that all my abilities like Maker's Muse and Preserve have been removed due to lack of skill points. Except now I'm in the middle of a synth and can't go back and add them. Yeesh.
