If SE implemented these features. . . That'd Be great.

So while adventuring in the world of Eorzea, one might find that somethings should/can be improved upon by the might powers that be (SE).

Here are just a few I would like to see implemented for continuous customer enjoyment
Feel free to use this thread to suggest some you have found that could greatly improve the the game as well.

• Inventory Sorting - I was taken aback that SE didn't have inventory sorting feature which is found in most games. It would be nice if we can sort by item type, name, or newest/oldest obtained.
  
• Company Instance Quests - It would be more fun/bonding if there are some Company quests that require you to party with your company members to accomplish which helps the company gain gil to it's coffers

• Duty Finder (Server Specific) - It would be nice if we had the option to use the Duty Finder and select that it only parties with people from only your server. Sometimes I would like to make friends with party members and sad to find out they are from another server.
  
• Police the goldspammers - Recently since the server upgrade gold spammers are quite apparent in the starter cities. New players might be annoyed and turned off to be greeted with gold spammers filling their chat box. I know I would have. I suggest that you keep their account active so that you can still benefit from charging the monthly fee but secretly silence them. So that they would "think" that their say/tell/shout/ can be heard as it shows up on their chat screen. But nobody else but them can see it.

• Carry someone/co-mount - It would be nice if people can have the option to carry someone in the game when both parties click accept or something. Along the same lines is that it would be nice if two people can ride on the same mount together. Perhaps make a special type of mount that can do that?
  
• Company Airship/ ship - To increase the benefits and fun of joining a company is that perhaps offer companies a chance to build a company airship or ship where their members can ride for free. It would require a lot of resources to build and a company quest to obtain the blueprints or something.

Those all sound great except for the inventory sorting. They already have one set in place if u go into character setting from the menu in-game. U can't hange its settings for sort by name and such but there is a feature there that if you turn it on it will send items to certain folders in ur inventory bag.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the setting of which you speak only sorts new items as they enter your inventory. Once you have used or sold an item from your inventory, it just leaves a hole on the page. I should be able to go into my inventory and at least press a button that auto-sorts by type, name or date obtained. It's a little thing, but the lack of such an option is certainly an oversight. I'd definitely like to see it corrected some time in the future.

• Increase the character (word) limit on the forums. I mean I understand posting limitations based on level. But the character limit they have on the forums practically forces you to use up all your allowed posts in a day
  
• Have a fashion armor slot - Basically for fashion items it will be on another equipment panel that covers your actual equipment. So you can actually go to battle with your Fashion armor and not worry about getting hurt as your still wearing your actual battle gear. You can turn your fashion armor on or off with a click of a buttom. This feature is common in most games.

Server Specific Duty Finder: They just announced that in patch 2.1 they are aiming to have a party system that will help people on the same server gather together to tackle content.

Goldspammers: While it baffles me as to why there wasn't something to handle this properly at launch I do see them being 'wiped' out in waves about twice a day. SE has mentioned they're working on it but to what extent I don't know. Hopefully we'll see the return of the special task force they created for FFXI that went after Gillsellers AND Gillbuyers.

If you are in a party with someone who uses teleport a prompt appears on your screen asking if you want to teleport with them. (Free of charge.) If you're on your chocobo then the prompt doesn't appear. It'd be nice if the latter was addressed to dismount and then teleport you. Co-mount may be cool but way way down the priority list in my opinion.

Company Airship: I like this idea. Especially if you can have routes to many outlaying areas.

Increase character word limit: Agreed. Editing your post allows you to put in however many characters you want tho as a workaround.

Fashion Armor slots: I forget what they're calling this but it is coming at some point. I would want it to be town/sanctuary only. I don't want to see people tanking dungeons in their male jiggalo swimwear or frosty the snowman outfits. Thats going a little too far in MY opinion.

You are in luck, all these things are being addressed or will be addressed in the future.

Inventory Sorting - is there but not great. Looking to implement a better sort feature, they tried a couple through the betas and i was suprised they were removed for release.

Company Instance Quests - This one, I'm not certain of but there will be Free Company summoning systems coming in the future. Also there will be goals for your company to acheive. I do understand what you are talking about "FC_levemets" of sorts, that would be kewl.

Duty Finder (Server Specific) - Hopefully coming in patch 2.2, maybe 2.1. they want to have the option to do this as there has been lots of requests.

Police the goldspammers - This is a big issue. They do have bigger fish to fry (server troubles) but they are aware and will be more actively dealing with them soon, i hope.

Carry someone/co-mount - This i have no idea about, Carriage maybe? kinda low on my idea of fun things to do and I havent heard anything about this yet. AlthoughI have heard rumors of swimming and flying coming eventually.

Company Airship/ ship - I recall, long ago, this was mentioned for future expansions, there are other systems they need to put in first regarding airships (FATE's) and Free Companies (housing)

Increase the character (word) limit on the forums - Right now its kind of arbitrary with the word limit. you can make an OP then edit it and there is seemingly no restriction. You could have put all your posts in the OP using C&P. Still can.

Have a fashion armor slot - Vanity sets are coming. not where you can be a WHM in heavy armor but there will be vanity slots.

This game was just released, these things and more will come with time. Thanks for the suggestions.
