Duty Finder takes too long to find people

There should not be any reason why Duty Finder takes so long to find people. It can take up to 2 and a half hours to find 1 person. How is it that i still get message 1017 but yet it can't find 1 member? please i hope next maintenance they address that because that is too much time waste.

Let me guess, you are playing as a DPS like the vast majority in this game? Compare that vast majority to the few tanks and healers available, then consider that said few tanks and healers may only run with FC groups to avoid bad pugs....See where I'm going with this? Basically if you want fast queues find a FC or tank/healer to group with, or roll as a tank or healer yourself.

I've never waited more than 3 minutes for duty finder. Roll as a real job.

You're absolutely right. the only problem is to start over again as another job would be straight time waste, and the closest to me in FC is level 41 lol. ah well i'll bite the bullet. and to make things worse im stuck on a JP server & they don't respond to "english" shouts for help. good thing i gots my trees to calm the nerves

Look I dont mind waiting - takes me about 30-45 mins to find someone but at least I find someone and can do things while I wait

HOWEVER - What I hate is the fact that some quests - Lord of the Inferno - where I am stuck on an island and cannot play. Been waiting for 2 hours and to be honest if I log off I don't get the safehouse bonus.

So what you gonna do Square Enix - will you save me from this boredom or am I gonna have to complain again ey (This time I actually have the time to complain too!)

You aren't stuck anywhere for the Ifrit quest. Have you tried casting return? You only need to unlock the trial in duty finder while you're down in the cave.

With updates scheduled every 3 months or so I don't see a problem.
