Nope it's not very good, out of curiosity I searched the battlemage coat u get in Brayflox, apparently you can't get it from anything....so useful.

Oh also minion or minions gives back 0 results....just saying to post above.

I was kinda scratching my head while looking at the items information (or lack thereof). Very few items had a listing of how it's obtained. It would be nice to see how/where items are obtained. It's definitely a work in progress though as you can see that some items will show up when looking at vendors but when you look at the item itself it gives no info on how to obtain it in most cases. Look forward to updates.

I hope they will add a couple of things to the app:

1. Crafting Recipes - or more importantly when I search for an item, which recipes the item appears in.
2. Dungeons - if an item appears in a dungeon chest or is dropped by a dungeon boss / monster, please tell me which dungeon.

This is more a shell than a reference guide atm. From what i can tell with a quick looksee every item is the same as above: stats and not attainable in anyway hopefully they flesh it aout a bit, could be darn good.

It's a start, but until it includes gathering and crafting data it's no replacement for $YOURFAVORITEWIKI.

Possible dumb question. But does anyone know what the clock is with the ET in front? It shows up at the top when you swipe right and see the menu. It's definitely minutes and seconds and not very accurate.

I can't even download the app. I am using iPad2 and searching the app store using keywords "ffxiv" or "final fantasy xiv" or "libra eorzea" don't get me any result that points to this app. I checked the itune page of this app on PC and copied and paste the link to it, sent to myself, and clicked on the link on my iPad. It brings up an appstore page, but all blank, white square on the screen where it's supposed to show app details/download button.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how to download the app??

Make sure you are looking under phone apps not ipad apps.

I realize this is old, but as someone who has both ipad and iPhone, what you need to do is download it for the phone first, then look on the ipad under purchased items. Then you'll be able to download it. Or, if you have a Mac, go into the App Store and buy it, then upload it to your ipad.

Also, the app doesn't have a landscape mode. So your ipad will always have to be vertical to use the app. Which is, to me, very annoying.
