Garuda battle (Story) as a WHM

Hello!
I've been trying for awhile to beat Garuda, 'til now my efforts were fruitless. Does anyone have any tips for me? I really want to finish the story but this fight is so hard!

Go do your level 45 class quest to get 4 really good gears free of charge. It helps a lot with the Garuda fight.

By now you should know the fight mechanics (positioning) so I won't touch on that. At the start, just cast stone skin on the tank and don't drop regen or spam heal immediately as you'll get aggro from Garuda pretty fast. For random wind damage, just cast regen on the player and they'll be top up nicely. Heal I with free Heal II should be able to heal the tank nicely. For the last phase, stay away from one another and just cast medica as required.

Of course, the fight will go easier for you if the tank and melee dps knows how to avoid the timed aoe swipe that Garuda does frequently.

Don't use Regen to top them off from wind damage, a Cure is cheaper and does the job just fine. Keep a Regen rolling on the tank though, and use your Cure and free Cure II on him when you heal him. When she does the final AoE Attack to destroy the pillars use Limit Break, or Divine Seal Medica twice. I didn't have my Melee move out of the AoE Swipe and from my point of view I found the healing to be quite easy.

Use a Holy to help the with the Adds, keep Shroud on CD after you lose about 15% of your MP. Use Divine Seal when healing your tank as it's on a short CD.
