    Melding Materia. Can I have someone else do it safely?

    I don't know any level 50 goldsmiths and I have the crafting weapon and materia I need to continue the relic quest...the problem is that I can't meld the materia to it.

    Is it possible to safely get a level 50 GSM to meld these? Like, would I be able to put it in the trade window and have them meld it from there? Or is the only way for me to get my materia melded to trade everything to a complete stranger and hope they don't steal it?

    There's a request meld feature whereby the item stays in your inventory but the crafter can meld it anyway. Just right click on a character and choose "Request meld".

    Find the crafter and right click on him and choose "request meld" then you will choose the item and materia that u want melded. Remember to have the catalyst too.
