Tanking Frustration: I blame WoW

I'll be fair, I played a paladin and a death knight--so no.

Arcane blast is a single target nuke. Paly and DK are AOEs tanks, do you have any clue what you are talking about. If you used bear or prot warrior (tanks stronger in single target threat) as example it would seem less like lying.

Or just make it simple. If an arcane mage plays wow for 3 years and raids endgame hardmode everyday, having 40 raid attempts every day, it would be 3x365x40= 43800 attempts within 3 years. If he starts the fight by infinite arcane blast until he blows up all his mana, which is around 25-30 secounds WITHOUT invisibility, the number of times he will go overthreat is 43800. Not 43799. Just. 43800. If you have an Omen threat meter, your threat will be at least triple for the best tank you can find. If you don't go invisible by the time your mirrors images disappear, you OT. We also use built-in stopwatch macros to set it at 30 seconds countdown, so we can go invisible at exactly the 30 second mark.

If you insist your point, I'd like to have some theories, terms, skills names please.
