Duty Finder past level 30 bugged?

I'm a healer, started as Conjurer and now I'm a White Mage.

Before level 25 or so I never had a problem with the Duty Finder. I clicked sign up and usually it was instant.

Then comes Hauke Manor at level 28, and it took forever. 15-30 minutes at least.
I know for a DPS that sounds fast, but for a healer it's really not. I thought maybe it's that now there's more healers (Scholars can queue as healer now), so that there's a tank shortage.
But a Paladin buddy of mine has the exact same problem.

The fun thing is, when I click on "Duty Status" it shows me 0/1 tank and 0/2 DPS. No DPS? How can that even be?

When this happened the first time, I thought the Duty Finder was down or something, but as soon as I sign up for one of the lower level dungeons, Coppermines or so, I got instant invites again.

All it says is "Readying Duty" and "Reserving Instance". But nothing happens.

While it's in the "Readying Duty" and "reserving instance" it's ensuring the presence of a slot in the instance server to run your instance on. In later instaces such as Amdapor Keep even a fully formed party can get a 30m waiting time, the instance server is just too overloaded right now.
But not to worry, upgrade to the instance server is coming by on wednesday

When it say "reserving instance" it mean that instance server of that range is full atm.

I used to have party of 4, so we should be able to enter amdapor keep instantly, but nope... it show "reserving instance" and let us wait for 10 min!

Ah thank you for the quick answer. Looking forward to Wednesday then and hope that fixes it.

Can't believe SE misjudged the required server capacities this badly, first for the actual servers and then for this...

Ignore those two, there's no wait for instances before 50. It's only AK that has a wait time, your party hasn't even been formed yet in that screenshot. Mid to End game tanks are the deciding factor for queue times.

Oi, i'm at work and didn't see a screenshot. My bad.

But yeah, just to note there are SO MANY Scholars that healers are facing DD-grade queues after level 30 these days, too. I do believe this is a first for MMOs with DF-like systems, healers and DDs having the same wait times

He/She meant a wait time for an instance spot on the servers, not a wait time for an instance group.
Haukke is the first dungeon in which you will be synced to level 30, so jobs are possible in there which means you now have competition for the spot of healer in form of scholars.
However, that only means that you have to share the few available tanks with your new healing competition, which increases your time in queue for a group.

And I don't know if you can really believe your paladin buddy that much, the longest time I ever had to wait was five minutes for Titan, everything else is pretty much instant regarless of the time of day.

Waiting for instances =/= Waiting for party formation.
