What method do you level with FFXIV General?

Anyone else play this game without quests? The OCD inside tells me not to do them out of fear of running out. It's a strange problem, but I'll probably get to them when leveling one of my other classes/jobs. Levemetes/FATES/Dungeons are enough to keep me occupied and leveling happily, thank god for variety. How do you level FFXIV general?

I spam leves when I run out of quests for my current level. I try to avoid FATEs in the highly populated and popular so called "FATE party" areas. They really are no fun with 200 people beating on a mob or swarming little ones, especially when half of said people are getting gold for landing one hit on a mob.

I grind mobs in the world with my chocobo. It's not as fast as Fate parties but it isn't as slow as say... FFXI release version so I can handle it.

mmmm with the actual "duty finder" and how long it takes....i usually dont do dungeon.
Quest? i usually dont have.
Levelete? wtf like 3 allowances per 9 hours?
Fate? 200 people smashing 1 boss or spamming aoe on mobs.

Whats next? Hunting log?

It's a great feeling to have 100 leve allowances

I divide whatever quests I have left between my WAR and SCH. I'm out of Leve Allowances and I want to start saving them for my Alchemy while I level my Botany.

I'm also out of pre lv.38 quests, so leveling any additional combat classes beyond where they are now is going to be soooo boring. Even more so with how few Leves we can do.

It depends.

Main class: Story quests > FATEs > Quests > Dungeons > Hunting Log > Guildleves > Levemetes.
Alter class: FATEs > Levements (Both from the Inmortal Flames and the normal ones) > Hunting Log > And ocasionally some dungeons, since those help me to understand my class's function.

I do all the quests I can find on the first class. I've found some quests I want to do for certain rewards are only available after I've completed other quests. For subsequent classes I work on the Hunting Log, do FATEs and Leves.

I also repeat Hests and Dungeons on other classes so that I learn on how to play them in group situations. Not for the experience points, but for the experience.

unless i have a story quest that needs doing, i just grind fates. leveling is going to be mindless no matter which venue you take, may as well take the fastest route.

I was unfortunately one of those people who used FATEs to level up a class to 50, (with help from the EXP from the story quests) and I really don't want to do that again! I'll have to try out using my Levemetes I have all saved up. The extra gil wouldn't hurt either.
