    I would change your password, current trend with that scenario is your account being compromised and used to advertise for RMTs. Use the Square Enix Software Token app on iOS or Android for free or purchase a One Time Password token from Square Enix for added security.

    You just have to wait ~10 minutes and like the message says, it'll log you out and you'll be able to log back in again.

    You just have to wait ~10 minutes and like the message says, it'll log you out and you'll be able to log back in again.
    You obviously dont know everything so maybe let the official customer service people handle things... I have been 3102 error for 9 hours. I did a support ticket on the website after 1 hour, and still nothing.

    You're looking in the wrong place then I'm afraid. With the exception of a few stickied threads, they don't answer support on these forums, they're here for players to help other players only.

    Because of the big 3102 errors in the phase 4 beta and last week it causes a lot of people to panic as soon as they see a 3102 error now, even though it's supposed to happen (hence my reply).

    I only suggest that because the logout problems have been fixed (there'd be a lot more threads about this if it wasn't) so it something specific to your account. Unfortunately if changing your password doesn't help, you can only wait for SE to reply or ring them to try and speed it up.

    It might be worth changing your password as potentially the reason it won't log out is because someone else is logged in (there's a lot of threads lately about people having had their accounts broken into).     They do answer issues here, as a matter of fact I just got off the phone with Support and they told me my best avenue of resolution is to post here on the forums, where the games developers and technical department can see the issues. I appreciate the fact you think your trying to help, but your suggestion of waiting 10 minutes is so redundant it is like your just building your post count. The error itself says wait a few minutes. There are people having problems that you may not have, that does not mean there is not an issue. One person just responded on another thread that they have had the 3102 for 3 days now. SO yes its an issue.

    As for your suggestion to change my password, thank you, that is a good suggestion, and it is the first thing I did this morning. I have verified through my guild via ventrilo that my guy is still in game, so I know the error is legitimate, have changed my password, emailed support, called support, noone can help. They said my best recourse was to post here, so that is what I am doing.

    Yes I'm sure they see the threads, but they really don't respond here and I honestly think their answer was just fobbing you off. If you don't believe me, please try and find as few as 3 posts in the last 3 days in the technical support forum where someone official has replied.

    At the current time of writing there's 5,836 threads in the technical support forum, but only 20 actual threads in the "Resolved" subforum and the most recent of those is still over 3 days ago.

    There's also only 1 thread in "Being Addressed/Currently Reviewing" even though none of the posts in that thread are from anyone official either.

    Back on to the 3102 topic, yes the error says wait a few minutes, but as mentioned before, after the big 3102 issues of the past people have automatically saw it, panicked and posted on here. They then realised they just had to actually wait and it would work. Example:

    I know it didn't work for everyone, but the majority of threads either edited to say they were back in, or never posted anything else (so it would seem a fair assumption that they're back in the game - those who can't get back in always tend to post in multiple places to let everyone else know about it). That is why I automatically assume that threads that don't say any sort of time for how long they've waited probably fall into this category. Why post at all if more than 10 minutes has passed? Simply in the hope that other people would see and remember for themselves if it happens to them at sometime in the future. Those two big 3102 sessions caused a lot of upset and in many ways they'd probably be better renumbering that error to break the association, but they haven't so...

    As for "building my post count", I invite you to check my posts because I feel confident that the vast majority of them have been helpful to others (or at least have tried to be helpful), but if you still think I'm just spamming the forums or whatever, you should probably report me, if you can actually find some forum staff anyway...

    Seriously though, I'm sorry to hear you're still locked out of your account and I do actually hope you can get it resolved soon, but if SE are monitoring/using these forums for support, they certainly haven't demonstrated it.

    There really is no reason for the op to be disparaging when someone takes time out to try to help.

    I suggest you log in with another character and contact a GM. If this isn't something you can trouble shoot then the GM will be able to access your character.

    You could also try suspending your account to see if that will force you to be logged out.
