If you haven't used the codes from both purchases and both were made on digital river, you could simply do as I did and cancel the order. If the codes have been used, they won't issue a refund. I preordered the game, then noticed the hold had dropped off my account prior to early access. I was worried the game would not be paid for so I did another order. I then sent an email to digital river, to which they responded right away informing me of how the service works and when I would be billed. They advised me to follow the simple steps on the order page to cancel the second order. I did this and it was all fixed.

Welcome to FINAL FANTASY? XIV (the "Game" or the "Service"). In order to play the Game, you ("You" or "User") must first agree to this FINAL FANTASY XIV User Agreement ("User Agreement") between you and Square Enix, Inc. ("Square Enix"). PLEASE READ THIS USER AGREEMENT CAREFULLY.
