Cannot complete "The Dreamer's Gospel (Gridania)" quest

First of all, I know that the event has changed. On the other hand, maybe this cannot be fixed due to lore issues and I must just abandon the quest.
Anyways, the fact is that I have a quest on my journal and all the items required to complete it and I'm not able to do it.
Here's the fulfilled template:

Steps:
1. I have accepted quest "The Dreamer's Gospel (Gridania)" a few days before 2nd part of the Hatching-tide event ("Hatching-tide - Hard-boiled High Jinks") comes live
2. I do have the items that the NPC is asking for on my inventory: 1 Archon egg, one lightning Archon egg, one earth Archon egg and 1 water Archon egg
3. I have completed "The Dreamer's Dilemma (Gridania)" quest.
4. I spoke to the NPC and gives me options for all the caps (A pristine egg cap, A vibrant egg cap, A brilliant egg cap, A midnight egg cap)
5. I select "A pristine egg cap" and got the item
6. "The Dreamer's Gospel (Gridania)" quest remains uncompleted on my current quests log on the journal.

Once more, there's no problem at all for me to abandon the quest. If it can be fixed in any way it would be great, if not I'm just abandoning it with no problem. Just reporting for future events...
