Yeah leaving this server, no one speaks in any of the zones barely or is friendly...or doesn't speak English at all...what a waste of 3 hours...def would advise if your not joined here yet don't! stay far a way from this server it has a horrible community imo.

I've actually have found most people on this server to be friendly and very talkative. Even so far as to travel long distances to revive a stranger. Maybe you were just on at a bad time? 3 hours is quite short for judging a sever. I've also been seeing some very friendly FC's recruiting. Maybe join up with one of them.

I think every game is what you make it out to be -- community included. You can join a FC with like-minded people, or if you're really picky, you can make your own. You can group up and immediately make friends -- learning who the good ones are and the ones that are utter tools. I don't think someone not speaking the same language you do should really bother you, honestly. The majority of non-NA people are far more enjoyable on average than your average NA'er.

So far, I've enjoyed every second of my time on this server. Regardless, best of luck to you and I hope you find what you're looking for. I just have a inkling that you won't. Life is about what you make out of it, and a video game is no exception.

My experience has been the complete opposite. Most people I've encountered here have been both friendly and helpful. At the very least, much more than I can say for my last server I came from.

Even by acknowledging a desire not to deal with NA you may be making a mistake; no sense getting caught up in self loathing either. I've been fortunate enough to have a global outlook just due to the programming work I do for a large corporation, and I've never had the ability to isolate north american or any other nationality. It's great that a game has such clear divisions between NA, EU, JP, but life doesn't frequently enough. Heck, the game doesn't really either, but on these forums it seems easy to fall into the trap.

Anyone that knows in three hours how things are going to turn out ... is locking down a conclusion.

It still seems funny to me in this game how little talking there is in the duty finder or the game in general, but I think I understand the nature of it. People play on PS3, and I do think Famfrit has a higher non-English speaking contingent than it lets on at times. May be simple explanations.

I liked on this server that it seemed a little quieter and politer than the norm, having played through higher population ones. And when I saw what looked like fresh players in the starting zones, I figured this one I would give a chance.

The community is each person's responsibility to shape in the way they wish it to be. Silence and tacit acceptance will allow any community to be over-run by the chat trolls etc. Whereas a community built on mutual respect and fair play will build itself.
