Bard Limit Break? Give me a break!

Come on, you took away WHM sub skills.
You rendered songs into a something you pop when running very low on MP or TP.
Even if you equip just archer instead of bard you are UNABLE to raise people during battles using raise as cross skill.

Yet our limit break is the same as white mages? This... this makes no sense. Bard isn't really an hybrid anymore, it isn't really support. It doesn't even have cure. It has two upkeep skills, that's it.

I've come to terms with SE pushing bard towards DDing (which I strongly disagree with), but if you're going to do it that way, do it right. Don't leave it incomplete.

If you are put in a 4 man duty party with 2 bards you have no DDing Limit Break. You're basically gimping the whole party with this.

I always hate it since Ragnarok Online but at least I have a choice to become a Hunter in that game.

so SE needs to make Hunter/Ranger as a branched job for archer class, ASAP. why they made Bard before Ranger anyway? I have no clue.

The irony of this is that the BRD questline tells you that the origin of the job came from some archer striking his bowstring like some retarded harp.

We probably won't see a Ranged Physical Limit Break until Musketeer is released because that is when a actual DD Physical Ranged Job will be released. Assuming Musketeer is given a DD focused Job and not a Support Job like with Archer moving into Bard.

Rank 3 LB is a full rez. With Bard survival/kiting/evasiveness it's been clutch on more than a few fights.

I guess all is say. Bard is more a Support Job than a DPS job. So i guess having an healing/support LB making sense for me.

Don't worry, I know that Bard do a good DPS, i've seem some people do Adampor Keep in 11 min with BRD

The limit break is one of the biggest gripes I have with Bard. I love the job (despite being a little disappointed with it not being the full support role it established since the beginning), but it really does feel like an oversight with the healing LB. There's pretty much nothing about Bard in ARR that would give you the impression that it'd be a heal lol.

A DD AOE would be great IMO. SE is probably just too lazy to make them a LB of their own considering they can't really wield a sword.
