I think most people are missing the point of why we don't like grinding: It's as boring as watching paint dry.

Then some people will ask, "what's the difference between grinding quests and grinding FATEs?" Quests can be done at your own pace and don't require a whole group to get some XP from. In most of the zones where you get quests, the XP gain is good and consistent. It's just that the main problem is that there's not enough quests. You might be doing some quests for a couple of hours, getting a good amount of XP, but eventually there's a point at which you can't get any more quests for your level. You see the red-exclamation mark floating above a quest giver's head, and the dreaded feeling of knowing you have to start the xp grind again sets in. This started happening to me a little before level 30, so since then I've ALWAYS had to grind FATEs or dungeons in order level up. And I have done most of the sidequests.

I have a LOT more to say but there's the 1000 character limit.
