Elitism ftw, that's pretty much how it is for every MMO

Titan Hard should not be attempted with duty finder. The dps requirements are high, the tank can get spanked, and the healing needed after stomps is huge. There may be some rare miracles, but it should be done with a group of people on a voice chat until the general population gets better gear.
Comparing RL and video game logic really just means you don't understand what you're talking about. As Rydin said, killing one IRL is alot harder to explain than in a video game.
Aside from that. Comparing games doesn't make sense either. Games don't typically start that way, but the community of MMO players has shifted a bit and it's need to adapt. Honestly it's better starting your own groups anyway, as sitting and complaining you wait for hours and don't get accepted seems like you're lazy to put in effort, and complain you get no results. It's counter-intuitive.
People that ask you to skip cutscenes on a game YOU purchased and are paying for are Jack***es period. i skip for no one. i payed, am paying for the game so im damn sure going to enjoy it. if your a rushy type then don't join me could care less ill just play with people that like to actually enjoy the game not look crap up on youtube. and inb4 retards come in here saying " but it takes time away from doing the battles" Thats a load of garbage and you know it. the game gives more than enough time for you to sit through the cutscenes if your actually playing correctly and not noob pulling causing party deaths.
I'll agree with this, but DF is still decent practice for learning the mechanics of the fight. Just don't go in there expecting a win. I'd say Garuda Hard is doable with the duty finder if you luck out and get a half decent group, it's easier than the 1.0 version for sure.Titan Hard should not be attempted with duty finder. That reminds me of a good point. This isn't a typical launch. There are a lot of "Already 50" players who have done content somewhat similar to this in 1.0. Do players see that as an invitation to be elitist? Path of least resistance and all that.... Recruiting players who are already geared is the easiest way to get geared yourself.Comparing RL and video game logic really just means you don't understand what you're talking about. Good point Strychnine
I've seen shouts in my server..and no joke, "Must have a mic for interview, must have good gear for Titan HM" LOL and he's been shouting for over 12 hours now!! Are these people serious...>.<
Worst shout I ever saw and thought it was a troll shout. It wasn't sadly:
LFMs Titan Hard, players with 10hrs xp in the fight and well geared.
That said, Rydin, you can't call someone elitist for looking for other like-geared players. Because they want someone who put in the work they do(if that's the case I'm sure not always is however)you can't call them a jerk for it. The eventual truth that players like to miss is that we're all equal to other players, but the truth to that is we're not. Being in the same game and being another person playing it doesn't mean you meet someone's standards, nor are you entitled to do exactly as they do when you want .
Sure there is plenty that are just jerks. But the better way to steer from this behavior is not to partake. Start your own group and help those trying to do it. Players often mistake entitlement to something, with ill-regard to effort to obtain it. Take in mind if someone shouts for 12hrs that's on them, you could be done by now. Just seems pointless to insult them, just because you're insulted.
It's happening! :3Every "Looking for Members" shout I see says they're only looking for geared and experienced members...
But isn't the point of doing the content to become geared and gain experience?
It would be like a wanted ad saying:
"Looking for the next president of the United States.... Applicants must have experience being the President of the United States"
Newsflash.... The shit is just not that difficult.
I'd take someone inexperienced but teachable over these douchebags who "think" they know what they're doing but can't dodge a red circle.
Honestly, if you have to "shout" for endgame pick ups you're probably not that experienced yourself, so stop being so pretentious
If someone is willing to go with you and put in effort, then isn't that better than a duty finder group who you'll never see again?
Give people a chance
