Arcanist relic weapon Quest.

I take the quest ask me to buy the book and 2 Savage Might Materia III then i talk to the npc and says I need 2 Quicktongues Materia III. I buy the quicktongues use it on the book and still dont want to accept the book? why? I spend a lot of gils on the materias =/.

I'm having this same problem. It took me two days to get the money for everything and now it's just useless to me. I didn't buy the quicktongue though, because I'm very poor. I just want my weapon.
